Hello

Drew Sebastian Heath, nice to meet you! In 2017 I was likely the youngest qualified therapist in the United Kingdom, at age 21, and have since gone on to practice and train in psychotherapy for 8 years, analysing and supporting hundreds of clients, and constantly learning. My heart is locked into helping people date, because when it is bad, it's traumatic - yet when it is good, it's the most beautiful part of living.

My Story

Aphrodite's son

Dating has always meant the world to me. At 10 years old, I remember saying "Dear lord, I don't care about school, or sports, or money, or fame, or looks; if you give me one thing, make me good at dating." You would think I was the son of Aphrodite herself (god of love). True to the chaotic nature of Aphrodite, I fell in love easily, and easily I wore my heart on my sleeve, making offerings to the beautiful - and the heart would be rejected, lead on, or outright abused. Oh I was anxious and self-loathing, let me tell you. So believe me when I say I know the pain of love.

journey as a therapist (11 years)

Dating Therapy really began way back in 2013, under the name Kings Of Hearts: a website focused on helping dating problems. I was 18 years old, no therapy training, yet I knew in my bones the value this service has - because I needed it too.

Unlike pick-up-artistry of the time, it was never about manipulating people to like you - it was always about overcoming the anxiety that they need to like you - that you may have the esteem to be truly yourself, and the social understanding to stop making things painfully uncomfortable by misunderstandings.

I loved self-help books and psychology. As a young man, I ran training courses teaching things like mindfulness and social skills. At 19 I started counselling training, and loved it. I worked as therapist for the NHS for five years, a number of other companies, and eventually ran my own practice. My focus was as a general therapist, all issues, but I knew my calling was to be more specific, an area that is criminally overlooked in therapy - dating.
